I don’t expect a tip. However, if you feel that I deserve one for my efforts, but aren’t sure how much you’re supposed to tip a fly fishing guide, check out the following link which does a pretty good job covering the subject. How to Tip Fishing Guides and Lodges

Refund Policy

Sometimes, life happens. If you need to cancel your trip, I offer a 100% refund on your deposit up to 14 calendar days away from the date of your trip. If you cancel within 14 calendar days of your trip, I reserve the right to keep 100% of your deposit.

Weather Policy

I fish in all weather conditions except for lightning and possible tornadoes. If severe weather is expected in the days leading up to your trip, I will watch the weather forecast closely and advise if other options are a possibility. I know several river systems intimately and always have a backup plan. However, every year there are a few stretches where substantial rain events happen and every river in the area is in too poor of condition to fish- rather, poor enough its probably not worth spending your hard earned money on a guided trip. If this happens before your trip, we can cancel, you can reschedule, or elect not to reschedule and get your deposit back.

If severe weather happens less than halfway through your trip and we decide its safest to call it quits rather than get struck by lightning or sucked into Oz by a tornado, I will offer you a 50% refund for that trip date, plus a 50% discount on one make-up date.
